For the most part I don't post serious political type stuff to our blog. However, over the past week I have had a lot of sadness in my heart about the passing of Proposition 8 in CA. I know people who are now going through the horrible adjustment that the weddings they had over the summer are now no longer legally protected. I was moved to tears by President-Elect Obama's victory speech last Tuesday, but the truth of it is that we still have a long way to go before we are treating all men and women equal.
